Welcome to Wordsmith Books, a division of Wordsmith Media, Inc.
Beginning in 2008, Wordsmith Books will initiate a book publishing program consisting of between five and ten original and provocative non-fiction books per calendar year. The books will be lively and intellectually appealing with the added benefit of Wordsmith Media's award-winning visual approach to the pages. The overall goal is to create stimulating books that entertain while stirring spirited reviews, discussion.
We emphasize both front-and backlist sales along with gift appeal. We will market our titles at retail levels throughout all traditional book channels including our existing relationships with Amazon, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, select independent bookstores and the like. Wordsmith is committed to e-download book publishing alongside traditional formats.
Wordsmith will also exploit its proprietary and extraordinarily targeted direct-to-consumer sales opportunities as they develop through Sacred History Magazine and the many pending Wordsmith Media magazine and film product introductions. Special or "premium" sales, proprietary to Wordsmith Media, will be fundamental. The calibre of writers we seek is reflected in the pool of talent identified in the masthead of Sacred History Magazine and in the persons of several proven best selling book authors who have expressed explicit interest in working with Wordsmith Media.
